  • 3 cup Cooked rice
  • 4 cup Water
  • 4 piece Green chili
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 50 g Dry fish (shutki)
  • 1 tbsp Mustard oil
  • 0.5 tsp Salt

Instructions

    Soak cooked rice in water overnight in a clay pot or bowl.

    The rice will ferment and develop a tangy flavor.

    Next morning, drain some water. Mash the rice lightly.

    Fry dry fish in mustard oil until crispy.

    Serve panta bhat with fried shutki, sliced onion, and green chili.
