  • 4 piece White fish fillets
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 0.75 cup Beer
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 4 piece Potatoes
  • 3 cup Oil (for frying)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Malt vinegar

Instructions

    Cut potatoes into thick chips. Soak in cold water 30 minutes.

    Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and beer for batter.

    Fry chips at 160u00b0C until soft. Remove. Raise oil to 190u00b0C and fry again until golden.

    Dip fish in batter. Fry until golden and crispy, about 5 minutes.

    Serve with chips, malt vinegar, and tartar sauce.
