  • 1 cup Toor dal
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 1 piece Tomato
  • 4 clove Garlic
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 piece Red chili
  • 0.5 tsp Turmeric
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 handful Cilantro
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instructions

    Pressure cook dal with turmeric and water until soft.

    For tadka: heat ghee, add cumin seeds, garlic, dried red chilies.

    Add chopped onion and tomato. Cook until soft.

    Pour the tadka over the dal. Mix well.

    Garnish with cilantro. Serve with rice or roti.
